Since 1955, Prospect Animal Hospital has strived to provide the highest quality of patient care and client education to our neighboring cities of Prospect Heights, Mount Prospect, Buffalo Grove and Wheeling, as well as, Arlington Heights. My new staff and I are proud to be able to continue that long lived legacy as of August 5th, 2013. Working with our clients to make sure our patients live healthy happy lives is our goal. By providing preventative care, diagnostics for early detection of disease processes and communication with our clients, we can give the medical care that your pets deserve. From pediatrics to geriatrics, we want to be there for you and your pet every step of the way.

This is Michelle. Michelle is 29 and has been working her way through the field of helping animals a lot of her life. Starting from your basic pet store dog food rep to being an assistant manager to the medical director of the shelter Border tails rescue. This is where she saw how much a difference a pet can make to a family. She has 3 rescued furry family members herself. Leela, Jinger and Kira. She now found her way as a veterinarian technician where she can continue the knowledge to herself and others of the health and wellness of our furry family members. She truly loves helping those who don’t have a voice, but a bark or meow.
Meet Aydee, a new veterinary technician assistant to Prospect Animal Hospital. She is a vet tech student who only has a year left of school. Yay! She has worked with all types of animals. She has worked with pigs, cows, sheeps, horses, chickens, rodents, rabbits, cats, and dogs. However, she will always have a sweet spot for dogs and cats. Outside of work and school Aydee likes to go for runs, rock climb, and go on walks with her ten year old miniature poodle, Kendra. She is grateful to have the opportunity to share what she has learned in school to a practice such as this one. Walking into work and seeing all the cute furry faces really brightens her day, so come on in and bring your fur baby. They would be in caring loving hands with the staff of Prospect Animal Hospital.
Meet The Team
Dr. Diane Dodin
Dr. Dodin finished her undergraduate degree at Delaware Valley College in Doylestown, PA. She earned her bachelor of science degree which focused on small animal science. She obtained her veterinary degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and finished her clinical year at the University of Illinois in 2003. Dr. Dodin has been practicing for over 17 years. Her free time is spent volunteering at Red Door Animal Shelter and working out. Dr. Dodin has two sweet cats named Munchkin and Mama Kitty, and multiple fresh water fish.
Kristina is a proud Cyclone, graduating from Iowa State University in 2015 with her BS in Animal Science and pre-veterinary medicine. She is currently enrolled in Penn Foster's Veterinary Technician program. It’s no surprise that she ended up working with animals since she can never remember wanting to do anything else! Even her parents were surprised when as a child she consistently told people she wanted to be a veterinarian when she grew up. Since then, she has worked with animals at shelters, pet stores, and veterinarian offices. Kristina lives in Wheeling with her son, two cats (Zanna and Zookie), dog (Camille), and guinea pigs (Rufus and Simon). Kristina loves to read fantasy novels and spend time outdoors.
Evelyn is a kind hearted and hard working individual. She thrives in any environment but most importantly the one she is most passionate about, which is Prospect Animal Hospital! Evelyn has been an Equestrian for over 18 years. Her love of horses helped her grow into her love for caring for animals. She has volunteered at Jaynesway farm And spring valley farm. She has also been a foster parent with PAWS, helping animals find their forever homes. When she is not riding she is spending time with her family, consisting of her parents and three brothers. Her time is also occupied by her beloved pets, Pepper and Blue her dogs, Kitty her senior cat, and also Jojo the bearded dragon. She is honored to be in a career she loves and that drives her passions.
